Our scientific research is aimed at supporting the management of marine resources to ensure the future sustainability of coastal ecosystems. Our research focuses particularly on population dynamics, trophic network structures of benthic communities, and the spatial distribution of resources and individuals competing for their use.

International Marine Centre - IMC Foundation
The IMC Foundation carries out applied scientific research in marine, lagoon, and coastal areas, with a particular focus on environmental management. It also engages in scientific outreach in these same areas. The main objective of the IMC Foundation is to promote scientific research, international cooperation, training, and dissemination, aimed at the proper management of bioresources and the Mediterranean marine environment, thus contributing to policies for sustainable development of the region. The IMC Foundation is part of the Scientific and Technological Park of Sardinia, a system of advanced infrastructure and services for technological innovation and research valorization.
